Bags and Totes

Bags and Totes – however did I get there? I bought some material from a destash Facebook site (I didn’t have a stash and kinda went overboard) and it was a couple of yards of contrasting pink teddy bear girly fabric. I ran across a YouTube video for a cute little bag with a drawstring top. I had a great time putting it together and use it for my notions when I attend crafty classes. I got a lot of complements and I was hooked (yes, I know, my ego!). I have several bag of the month subscriptions for more higher end bags and many, many YouTube tutorials saved for everyday type bags and grocery totes (PSA – Did you know that YouTube caps your ability to add to “Watch Later” to 5000 videos? Make playlists!). I also have been begging for donations of jeans because there’s a plethora of bag patterns made from old jeans. I have many cute embroidery patterns to make grocery totes although I am still struggling to find the perfect roll-up grocery tote pattern. One day soon, I hope to put on my big girl panties and make a bag from this beautiful blue cork I bought at a trade show. Stay tuned…
