Jan Hudson is celebrating finishing block 3.
Observations for today
– I meant to mix up B and C on the geese…really, I did (yeah, right)
– It is possible to say out loud “be careful not to sew a goose on backwards” and then proceed to do just that.
– It is also possible to lay out the finished strips in the order you are going to sew them just a mere 2 feet away from your machine and then manage to sew a strip on upside down.
– Make sure you are ripping the seam that you meant to rip.
– Don’t get frustrated because you ripped the wrong seam and sew yet another strip on upside down.
– I refuse to pontificate on perfect points.
– I read a story on Facebook that said people who swear a lot are highly intelligent. I applied to MENSA this afternoon.
– Hubby laughed at me when I walked away from this block the first time. I think I will tell him I have a blister on my fingers from using the seam ripper so much. Maybe he’ll make dinner.
– I could have so much more time to sew blocks together incorrectly if I didn’t have radiation every. single. day…(I do get the weekends off so yay!)
