The Infamous Photo
I chose this photo to represent myself on SewKnotRight when I first started it as a blog simply for one reason - to annoy my children! Baby the Biscuit called and lamented, "Mom! You're nakey on the internet and under some of the blocks for MY quilt! Who took that picture??". I replied, "We had the UPS man do it". Sonshine claims he now has PTSD. I do have on shorts and a tee shirt AND hubby took the pic. Kids these days!

Hey y’all! I’m a retired high school teacher/administrator living in Rome, GA USA. I have a blended family of 5 grown children, a wonderful hubby (read the blog – you’ll love him too) 2 dogs and 4 granddogs. I have a bachelor’s degree in English with a linguistics concentration and a Master’s in English Composition with a literature concentration. I am one well rounded English major. My master’s thesis is “Is Gothic Dead? The Evolution of the Vampire Novel”. I quilt, sew, embroider and have recently added paper crafts to my hobbies. I have added a shop to my site – not to get rich, but to pay for my buying craft supplies addiction. I also wouldn’t hate it if I became famous so be sure to tell your friends about me!

Chewy is a Brussels Griffon and very much a "mommy's dog". He was born on 3/15/2021 and weighs 20 pounds. Since he was raised with Chaos, he has no idea that he's little! This is his "snow face".

Chaos is a black goldendoodle and loves his daddy! He is a Christmas Eve baby, born on 12/24/18 and weighs 80 pounds. He is quite the distinguished gentleman.
